Candidates for the Best Paper award were proposed by the session chairs - ten candidates were invited to present their research in a 3 minute elevator pitch presentation leading to a final decision by members of the programme committee the keynote speakers and the audience. Prices of the Best Paper Award were kindly provided by Carl Zeiss AG.
